On July 12, 2024, 53 Bel VN staffs joined the event of raising awareness on trash negative effects to the coastal environment with the community at Nhì hamlet, My Long Nam commune. The team also handed 8 trash bins to eight local schools at the event, and collected the trashes with local people:

• My Long Nam Primary School (Nhi hamlet): 1 trash bin;

• My Long Nam Primary School (Ba hamlet): 2 trash bin;

• My Long Nam Kindergarten (Nhut B hamlet): 1 trash bin;

• My Long Nam Kindergarten (Ba hamlet): 1 trash bin;

• Nguyen Van Cong Secondary School (Tu hamlet): 2 trash bins;

• Cultural Center (Nhi hamlet): 1 trash bin

The campaign is a part of the 4 - year project “A Tree in Hand” launched in 2023. The project funded planting 2,500 Sonneratia Caseolaris mangrove trees along riverbank of Nhì hamlet, My Long Nam commune.
