🌸 GOAL 1.4: RENNOVATION OR BUILDING TOILETS

🌸As part of the Program of Livelihood Improvement (PLI), MangLub VN has set goal 1.4: “renovation or building public toilets” for project areas. The program is now broadened its scope to families, which means that local families who do not have toilets or have toilets with insufficient quality can also get sponsored by our program.

Toilet #3 for Mr. Tran Van Tang

🌸 Tra Vinh – February 2024, the totilet # 3 at Don Chau commune, Duyên Hải district, was offered under the framework of PLI (program of livelihood improvement). The PLI’s budget is from MangLub VN’s annual profit.

🌸 Mr. Tran Van Tang is the shrimp farmer participating in the project of the 2023 Mangrove Reforestation in Tra Vinh province (or Phục hồi Rừng ngập mặn tại tỉnh Trà Vinh năm 2023) funded by SK Innovation, under the United Way Worldwide coordination. The project funds 31 hectares of Sonneratia Caseolaris and Rhizophora Apiculata mangrove trees.

🌸 Mr. Tang’s farm is running a very small scale shrimp farm, following the extensive farming style. He joined the project excitingly and is in the 2nd year of the project cycle.

🌸The toilet was finished the Tet holidays and has been in use by his family since then. Total cost is twelve million Vietnam dong.

🌸Our PLI welcomes any financial support so that more families can benefit from the program.
