SK INNOVATION RUNS EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGN OF RAISING MANGROVE’S AWARENESS FOR STUDENTS OF HOA MINH PRIMARY SCHOOL

☘️ One of the missions of the SK Innovation’s 2025 Mangrove Reforestation project is to improve the awareness of mangrove’s importance & benefits to local communities. Aiming at training the local youths to become the future guards of the mangrove forest, SK Innovation project organized the second educational campaign for 100 students of Hoa Minh primary school on August 15, 2025. The day became the unforgettable memory for all the lovely students whom were officially educated about mangrove for the first time.

• The students were shown mangrove photos which had previously been captured at the actual project sites during the past years. The photos help them know about the Intsia Bijuga, Rhizophora Apiculata, Sonneratia Caseolaris, etc…

• The students were educated about mangroves’ benefits and importance, and the suitable protection methods.

• The quiz at the end of the event was held to help the students achieve meaningul takeaways.

• The most interesting part is that the notebooks and thermos were donated to 100 students. This is purposed for educating the kids about the plastic waste’s harms, which contributes greatly to the mangrove survival.
