Tra Vinh, September 2023 - "Enhancing Society Together" - is the official name that Haskoning Vietnam gives to the afforestation project in 2023. By authorizing the implementation to MangLub Vietnam Social Enterprise, the company shows its concern for the coastal environment by sponsoring 03 hectares of Rizhophora Apiculata species in two shrimp farms of Lam Thi Lai and Thai Ut Nho in Long Vinh commune, Duyen Hai district, Tra Vinh province.

The project is classified as a reforestation project in the model of mangrove and shrimp, with a four – year budget from 2023 to 2027. The planting method is only Rhizophora A. tree species.

Social aspects:

Recently, many farmers have been facing challenges in industrial aquaculture, causing negative effects to the environment. In addition, farmers start thinkining about changing to traditional farming system. This motivates MangLub Vietnam, the local government, and Haskoning Vietnam to implement this reforestation project in 2023.
